I recently attended the three day Prosperity Power Seminar, with Daniel Kertcher. 

Up until this time I had no experience with option trading and very very limited computer skills,  Through this course I have been able to not only expand my knowledge but make money!! 

Following Daniels system and investing $10000, in the first 11 weeks I made a clear profit of $14699.01 !!!

Although in some of my trades I made a loss the profits defiantly made up for it.  

I know as I learn more I will be able to do even better than this. 

My family is now wanting to learn about option trading because if Mum can do it so can they.  

I wish I had known about this system many years ago and can not recommend it highly enough to anyone who wants to learn more and make money with very little time input.

Just a note to share with those who are like me a total greenhorn in the trading market, even more so for options trading. After I sign up for the 3 Days option course, I did read a couple of books on option trading to get a better view before the commencement of the course. As for the books, it is more on the context or understanding in words, but at the seminar you will be able to get "REAL" with the techniques and MORE FUN with the practical aspect of the LIVE TRADING. 

Just to share, following the techniques taught, I started with Buying 3 WPL Jun 1400 call @ $0.69 to open option on the 1st Mar and close up my position on the 6 Mar @ $1.16. That was about 68% of gain in the FIRST EVER TRADE IN MY LIFE. I was delighted with the result even though later, the option went way up to $1.26. (As the Master, "Daniel" taught us DO NOT EVER put your EMOTION in trading, be contented with the accumulated small gain than greedy for a big gain. As things don't usually turn up as it is.)    So, for those who are trading like i am, good and best of luck, as for those who are looking for easy to learn and most of all apply to use in trading option, GO!GO!GO for the Seminar.

After the training course finished on Monday 30 September I went on a planned holiday with my family to the Blue Mountains for a week. When I got home I loaded Share Chart, applied the Platinum Rules and bought into two trades. This morning I sold out of my first trade and made 93% in four days, the second is still going at about 60% with no Platinum sell signals yet.

I am pleased to report that after 3 months of trading since Feb this year, I have done 9  trades, 7 of those were winners, and 2 were "donations". 

The average for the 7 winners is 38.24%.  Two donations average is -53.32%.  ( I have to improve my discipline to minimize my donations next time.) 

But overall, I am happy with my result as an "amateur" options trader.  There is always room for improvement.  The big word for me now is DISCIPLINE.

Hi Daniel, 

Since doing your course on the Gold Coast, in the last 8 days I have made 3 quick trades to test the water, all of which were under $2000.00 per trade as we were taught. The trades were on NCP, WMC and BHP. In those 8 days I have bought and sold at a profit of $1077.00 net of brokerage. That equates to approx 17% net return in 8 days. Nothing outstanding to some but annualized at 775% probably not bad don't you think? Obviously we could have stayed in the trades for longer and probably realised larger gains but when you are new to this, a profit is a profit, so we sold our options. So far so good and thanks again. When I sell my business and start trading for a living I definitely owe you a beer or 2!

I attended your 3-day options course at Ellerslie, Auckland in March 02, and since then my wife and I have had a blast learning how to trade. We have had some great profits and made some equally great donations back to the market.  The funniest moment was when the universe punished us for holding on past a 25% stop loss. As soon as our nerve broke, and we sold for a 29% loss, the universe turned the stock around and we watched the option price rise through 140%!!. Doh!!

Thanks to your system I placed my first trade the other day buying RIO calls and making a nice 30%! As it was my first real time trade I closed out with the profit however I probably should have stayed in the trade to take the remaining 20% that was on offer.

Oh well never mind, as you say "I'll leave some on the table for the next person".

Hi Daniel,  

Just want to let you know I am doing full time 3 months so far since the course (Oct2002,SIN).  Right, not much normal signal, but I found a few double top, standard error, NCP price between 11.50 to 13.00 in the last two months.   All these made my trading capital 100% growth almost. $10000 becomes $20000 in 3 months. (just the AMP double top last week, I earned 200%). Sure, if I left some contracts until today, would gain more!!! But I told myself, 200% is not bad!  I am now quite confident on trading.

Thanks for your effort! I don't even know anything about technical analysis before.   Not sure when, but I know, one day, I will have my 1st $100000.

On 16/5 I made 6.8% including the margin. I consider that already as great, because Mr. Seher (of UBS,) told me that a loss than 10% a year was good

The covered calls are going very well and the trading is starting to pick up too. I have finally understood the principles or risk - reward and am only looking for trades where the risk to reward is 1-2 or 1-3 i.e. where say I risk 500 I expect to make either 1000 or 1500 in return. This limits the number of trades each month but it means I can be wrong 6 times out of 10 and still make 25% per month.

In fact, I have been so active on options trading. I am starting with USD10K and use the margin provided by Optionsxpress. So far, I have netted about 16.2% from the first trading since 13 May 2003.

I have learnt alot of new things and given what I see...it is possible to earn 12% every month on USD50,000/- giving a decent income of at least USD5K a month. Not bad for a decent life.

I devote alot of time for this. I did make some mistakes and my portfolio still look good.

Thank you for the update and so good to hear from you again.  Let me tell you what I have done in last several months.  I have started my covered call writing with optionsXpress since this April.  I found it pretty easy to follow and the return is good, about 2 - 3%.  I got 5.2% in august with the gain in stock value.  Even I don't know too much about option, I only stick to writing covered calls and it makes me a reasonable profit; actually, more than reasonable.

On the option front, I put aside $8000 to invest in option. I lost $4K in CBA  and NCP calls which went wrong. I bought NAB, RIO,  MBL puts and QAN call with the remaining $4k and they earned me $15K.  While watching your investment vaporise is painful, I can also tell you that the euphoria of making 400% on a trade in under 3 weeks is hard to beat ( I sold out early. If I hung on a bit longer, it could have been 500-600%, but one must remember not  to be greedy.)   I only put in $600 in MBL and it returned $2000,  $600 in QAN returned $2400, I put in $1000 in RIO and it returned $2700, $2000 in NAB returned $8000.

Option trading is indeed fun.

Dan, I just closed out of my first trade on BHP calls.  Capitalised well on the resources heat, though I missed out on RIO - looked at it too late. Bought 5 BHP $9.44 at .43  sold at 1.01, with steam left in it yet too.  Total profit 122% ($2780). Held for a bit over 1 day.  Thanks for all your help.  You’ve changed my life!
